Tonight I noticed that when I use my MacBook while its on my lap, there are clicking sounds. This clicking does not occur while the MacBook is on my desk or sitting still on my lap. However, as soon as it start typing or making a few clicks/scrolls on the track pad, I hear clicks, does anyone know what it may be?

figured it out...

I think it's the hinges to the lid, when I'm sitting moving the laptop the slightest amount (typing and scrolling) causes the lid to shake and thus the noise, is this normal?

The first troubleshooting step I'd take is to mute the sound to see if the sound is being generated by the speakers or not.

I already did that while the 'clicking' was still there and it's not the speakers, but anyways, the clicking seems to be gone altogether, and since I already have a HDD lying around I'm not too concerned, I think.
