It shouldn't. How long do you have to "rub it back to life" before it does actually come back to life? Likewise, uncheck "ignore accidental trackput input" and see if it makes any difference (it shouldn't really).I have noticed lately that my trackpad (cursor) will become unresponsive when sitting idle for just a moment. I will have to do some rubbing to get it back to life. Would this have to do with having "ignore accidental trackpad input" enabled?
