Care to be more specific? There are loads of cables out there. You wouln't go to a hardware store and ask for screw without saying what it was for, so why now? And just a hint, there aren't that Many Mac specific parts that you couldn't get at a common PC store.

Froogle only comes up with one vendor:

But there is also this one - quite a bit cheaper but still expensive:
iMac Slot Load Hard Drive Power Cable $17.77
Have you tried these places? There are probably others if you search a bit more. This was just a 30 second exercise with Froogle and Google to get those two.

These guys seem to have the cable in stock as well and they are even cheaper than the two places I posted.
I think $13 is very reasonable.

Mac-Pro wants $10 shipping to Canada, but the cable is 17.77.
Considering thier shipping is $8.01 to PA, $10 to Canada is pretty reasonable considering they have to fill out a custom form.
I find even $15.- shipping and handling reasonable - postage rates in the US have gone sky-high recently and at $10 s/h the store probably looses money in that transaction.
On the plus side, there is no sales tax on items less than $20.-,

If I'm not mistaken - isn't this just a 2 inch long IDE Hard drive cable?
If my memory isn't failing me here and it is, why don't you just make your own cable from a $1 cable you can get anywhere? Just remove the pin bar from one end, cut to size and then reclamp the bar back on in the new position - making sure you keep your cables in line and the orientation of the bar correct, and it will work.
I did this for an external case were I broke the cable removing it as I swapped drives in and out. I spent a few weeks looking for a replacement (with no luck) before I tried the above solution and it has worked fine since.

sorry, I misread your post - but I'll leave my previous post as it is valid for repairing these cables.
My suggestion is just calling around to many of the Mac resellers (Alex Rishda, MacDoc, etc.) and see if they have a dead imac that you can get this part from
