H i guys

i want to move my wife into the mac world, but she has a work provided pc aswell as her dell.

what want to do is hook up a mini in place of the dell and use a single mouse monitor and mouse.

the kvm switch we have is all ps2, are there usb ones that would enable me to use apple KB and mighty mouse?

thanks

i guess i could try it first...

can i use adaptors from usb to ps2 on that end? or would that bugger with the switch?

I think it should work if you use an adapter, because I mean all the switch does is switch computers, I am using a USB Mouse attached using an adapter into a PS/2 Port on a PC and it works well, so if the switch had PS/2 Cables you could use an adapter to plug them into a mac.

The PC should easily support a USB keyboard/mouse.
What are you running on it? XP?

Edit: what about your monitor? VGA support is cheaper... don't know how many DVI switches are around.

Win 2K USB support wasn't very good - not sure how much they improved it towards the end...
There are many options - check out NCIX/Tiger/Canada Computers... all the usual suspects.
