Man - I guess I have fouled myself up.

I was so intent on having it so big brother wasn't watching - that I cannot find a way to turn the 'location services' back on.

I have a new ipad mini4.

The Location services - that is accessed through the 'privacy' link - is off.

And it is greyed out - so I cannot turn it back on

Does anyone know how to turn it on?

Thank you:(

Settings>General>Restrictions>Share My Location>Allow Changes. Then the grayed out Location Services button will turn green and you can change the setting.

Thank you

However...there is no ‘restriction’ option

You'd be looking forcontent & Privacy Restrictions on the latest IOS. If it is turned on, make sure that location services has "Allow" It's easiest to type "Restrictions" in the search bar for settings to find what you're looking for. It's the only way I found it.

You may also be able to get it going in 'General' -> Reset -> 'Reset Location & Privacy'

polywog's suggestion makes sense, but not forgetting I believe, that some apps may control the location services on their own, or at least try to.
