I just had my first Leopard problem. You guys might have already had this same thing but I wanted to know if you have or not. I was working on Firefox and decided to put my MBP to sleep by closing the screen. I assumed that it was OK to do this without closing Firefox first. Now when I opened the screen again the keyboard did not work. None of the keys did anything. I eventually shut her down and restarted and all was fine. Did I do something wrong by not quitting all the programs prior to putting the computer to sleep?

The Apple Support discussions have a number of people talking about MB and MBP keyboard issues in Leopard. I don't think it's a Firefox-specific issue.

Never have liked Apple's sleep - try this, put the computer to sleep manually and see if anything changes.....I suspect Apple has a timing issue ( not the first time ...pardon the pun )
