Perhaps this is a silly question, but here goes.

I have 2 iMacs, an older and a brand new one.

I just set up my new one and want to wipe and re-instal leo on it. It already has Leo, as i own a multi lic. copy of Leo.

Can i install leo from the new CD that came with my 3.06 imac? It is version 10.5.6 and will be alot more up to dat than starting back at 10.5.0 and running software update....

In other words, are the discs in any way ( i assume not) tied to a machine?

Cheers

Tied to a machine no but they are series specific. That install disk will only install on the most current series of iMac.

Grey disks are machine specific, black disk is 'retail' install-anywhere. You can't install the machine-specific version on a different machine.
