I am getting another machine, but I do not want give up my dual monitors.
I would like to be able to use one keyboard and mouse (USB) with my dual monitor setup on both machines. Does anybody know of a reasonably priced KVM switch that will do this?
I found one at KVMs.com, but for $560 US!!!!!!

From a review of MacWarehouse Canada prices, that seems a bit expensive. Here is a KVM to share things with two computers http://www.macwarehouse.ca/product.asp?sku=DSD2573

There are others here http://www.macwarehouse.ca/prod_LineList.asp

What type of monitors do you have. The above only seem to work with monitors with VGA connnectors.

You could give the Canadian MacWarehouse a call, and they may be able to help find you one that fits your requirements.

Macdoc or one of the other guys may have something cheaper than that $560 one, too.

I have 2 19" monitors, one KDS and one ViewSonic and I have them setup in extended desktop mode (Pallates on one monitor and work area on the other)
I do not want to lose this feature when I get the other computer.

I actually work at a reseller, but we have nothing like this in our system and I could only find that one from KVMs.com, just looking for a cheaper alternative.

You're in Calgary! You should be glad that we have Alberta Computer Cables here in town... You can get quite a sizable discount if you are (or say you are) an employee of a company that does business with them. They may not be the cheapest (although they are close!), but they make very good quality stuff and stand behind their products.

KVM's at ACC
