Yes, you can export to various formats, but be aware that you are then limited to the strengths and weaknesses of the chosen format.
That's one good idea -- there's also exporting to a quicktime Movie, and then stopping/starting when needed. (ie: get to slide one press stop -- spacebar -- and so on) that could be a little cumbersome however...Could you download the iWork trial and install it on the Macbook pro at work?
