Took the plunge myself last month, my macbook pro arrived a few weeks ago 
I've really done it this time: new MacBook.
With my old 12" PowerBook not capable of its potential thanks to a dent that prevents the power adapter from being used (shame; it's in excellent condition otherwise), and the desire to own a more powerful machine lurking recently, I decided to take the plunge and get a MacBook.
I put a couple of pictures up of the box opening ceremony and the first start - there's still nothing quite like hearing that first start-up chime. ;-)
(Being a student, I also now have an iPod nano which I don't need thanks to my 5G iPod still running fine. I'll decide what to do with it after the rebate gets sent off.)
