Might be damage to the PB hard drive. Run Disk Utility on it and see what shows up. I had the same issue at work a while back. Repaired the drive and all was well.
Issues with new iMac
Just received my new 20" iMac.
A beauty.
But I have a problem. I also have a Powerbook G4 1.5ghz. I'd really like to get the apps and settings moved from it to the new computer. Same way as I did when I moved from iBook to Powerbook.
Not working though. iMac not reading the PB drive. Not with migration assistant, not with target mode.
Works the other way around though. PB recognizes the iMac drive in target mode.
Any insights on what the problem is and/or how to get my info well transfered?
