IF you want to install native apps to your iphone and are not comfortable hacking around this is the solution for you.

Follow these simple instructions at Gizmodo.

For this to work your cellphone must first be "Jail broken" and activated. Use this point and click app to do so.

My recommended applications: (make sure to first install the Community Sources)

Vnotes: App to take voice memos with your iphone.
MobileTextEdit: For editing simple text editor in your iphone.
Books: simple ebook reader
MobileFinder: A simple finder and launcher for the iphone (Required for MobileTextEdit)
SummerBoard: Enables a scrolling SpringBoard "home screen" for all the additional apps you will install
BSD Subsystem: (Required for MobileFinder)
rSBT: Rearrange those those icons on the SpringBoard and Dock.
Stumber: Simple wifi stumbler.

Cheers enjoy.

Any updates about the You Tube fix... Can't find the links to the files for this anymore.

I'd like to do this fix using my Mac, since I have used iNdependence to activate. But it seems that only a PC fix is available. So then, could I not just use Parallels or Bootcamp?
I have mine working just for kicks, I don't use youtube that much. PM. Download it here. Follow the instructions precisely up to the first update (do carryout instructions in update2).

As always backup before you delete any files.
