I have an iPhone 4s on OS 6. I missed an update and now there is only OS8 which I heard will kill the 4s. Can someone please confirm if that is true? If so how do I get OS7 as I need that for certain apps it seems.

Well then F-U apple. Next phone will not be an Apple one.
This is the sort of crap I'd expect from Windoze.
Thanks for the reply.

There isn't much difference in performance between 7 and 8 on an iPhone 4s. Both are equally SLOW.

I'm afraid I tend to agree with your comments and really don't appreciate Apple's direction and policy recently.

So you can say screw… etc. and forget Apple and go Googling and find some helpful sites.

With a quick search on 'iOS 7 download' etc., this one looks pretty good:
iOS 7 Download Links & How To Install It Yourself - Hongkiat

Or even this maybe:
Download iOS 7

Or consider joining the jailbreaking community for even more user control. No problems here with my older iPad 2 and iOS 7.1.2? I think. ;)

My 4S works fine on iOS 8.3. Perfectly acceptable performance.
