iPhone 3G Says NO SERVICE

I've had my iPhone 3G for almost a year now, its jail broken and unlocked and has had no problems until now.

I was just in the car and randomly it switched to NO SERVICE.

I've tried everything I can think of, resetting the setting, restarting, and doing a hard-reset (holding the power and home button)

Any help? I really don't want to have to undo my jailbreak and all that and have to do it again, although I've seen that written on some forums.

PLEASE HELP.

Was it unlocked when you bought it? If not, just go to cydia/ultrasnow/modify/reinstall.
That might solve your "no service" issue! I had the exact problem and reinstalling(unlocking)
via ultrasnow solved my problem.
