one of my konfabulayor widgets tells me i have 77.2 MB of inacitve RAM. what does that mean?

Just shut down, the started up and now it tells me i have 78.5 inactive MB of RAM.... hmmm

I believe that inactive RAM is RAM that is not being used at the moment, meaning that like in OS 9, its utterly and totally free. I'm not very sure but thats what would make sense.
