Hey guys.

My iMac keeps freezing on a blue screen, and on that screen I can move the cursor but very slowly (it moves slowly and not as the same speed as if it were fully booted). I did not get the "screen of death", you know the white screen with the "?" which suggests that your mac is effed!

It boots and does the circle loader thing and then goes into a blue screen (I think that is the log in menu where I have 2-3 users)... but I only see a blue screen.

Anyways, please let me know what to do.
Thankl

Sort of thing Disk Warrior does a good job of fixing.

You can also try booting from the OS install disk. Find the menu item to select start-up drive and select the internal drive. This will re-bless the system folder.

Could also be a dying HD. If you can boot from an external drive and access the internal drive with no slow down or errors then the internal is probably OK.
