Hello everyone,

My Imac 20" (bought in 2009) turned off while I was working on it, like if someone unplugged it. Since then it doesn't react and it's impossible to restart it. I tried the tricks I saw on Apple website, but none of them worked. I never opened the computer or tried to change anything. I tried replugging, pressing the buttons in order as it's given in the manual, nothing is working :-( I would appreciate any help, cause I don't know what else I could try to do (except to bring it to Apple store...:-( )

Thank you so much in advance!

I'd take it to an apple store or other apple authorized service place, you've done what you can with it -- although I would triple check to make sure that the power outlet you're using still works properly first -- stranger things have happened ;)

Thank you Mguertin! That's what I'll need to do I'm afraid, for now I checked everything, also used another wire to plug the electricity, but still nothing :-( I just hoped there could be a way to fix it without a visit in Apple store ;-)))
