Development has stopped, but a maintenance release as promised last week was just released, downloaded in a scant 10 seconds at about 500 k/sec. It weighs in at 6.7 MB and no problems installing it. So its safe, if you keep IE in case of incompatabilities with Safari.

Looks like Msft is stopping development on IE for the Mac..
We know. Check out this thread already in progress on the news.

IE popped my "Internet Cherry," a few years ago. If it only had a good pop up blocker, included, and a few minor adjustments, there wouldn't be a need for other browsers. I'll keep mine just to remember the good old days. You never forget your first!!!!!!
