I have heard of this, I dont think it was dor iDVD 3 though, and the one I had, could only be used for OS 10.1 the company that produced it stopped making it because of pressure from Apple. I have not heard of a new one for OS 10.2

I heard from a mac friend of mine that there is a hack for iDVD3 that allows it to work without a superdrive and export the files to some non-DVD format, so that you can even burn (small) projects onto a CD. Anyone heard about this, and if so, anyone know a link or a place for more info?

Thanks

OtherWorld Computing was including an iDVD hack with their external burners so you could use it with them, but Apple sued them shortly after.
I have heard that it works with iDVD 3 as well, but finding it is the hard part, I do not even know what it is called.

Apple didn't sue, they made it worth their trouble to stop.

Anyway, It won't work with 10.2 or later,

Apples complaint was actually pretty funny in it's own right, the excuses their apologists came up with in the aftermath were even better.
