Just wondering how the built-to-order bluetooth option for the iBook G4 works. Do they just give you one of those little Belkin bluetooth adapters, or do they actually install some internal device inside the machine? And if so, is it possible to buy this internal bluetooth adapter later down the road, or does it have to be purchased at the same time as the machine?

The BTO Bluetooth module is interally installed and attached to the logic board, not making it possible to install it later if it's not BTO (I think!).

Looks like it is internal.....
" optional internal Bluetooth module available"

Not sure about the new ibooks yet but we can buy the internal BT module for the G5 through Apple Service parts. We may be able to do the same for the iBooks but we will have to wait till the new iBook parts get listed. Should only take a few days. If no-one has posted the answer, I will let you know.
