notes that changing the user agent for Safari to Windows MSIE 6 makes the site load.
.

How do you do that? Change the Safari client so the server thinks it's something else .. I can't figure it out how to make this "change", can someone enlighten me please?

You can use the Terminal or Safari Enhancer

Safari Enhancer can be found at Version Tracker, using the Terminal, type this:

I wanted to check out buymusic.com which won't load using a mac.
To get the site to load I simply did this.

Preferences -> Security -> then uncheck Enable JavaScript.

Thanks for the tip about the Safari preference trick.

It worked for me. to at least check out the sight just so I can say for myself that it sucks big lemons.
