Here's a tip... I just found out that if you roll up or down your mouse's vertical scroll wheel while pressing the CTRL button, you get a zoom IN/OUT function.

Turns out it is quite useful when reading PDF on line... Difficult to estimate the percentage "power" of the zoom-in function but it allows to make some thing small quite big.

Voilà. Thought I should share. (see attached)

I remember hearing about this some time ago and thought "what a great feature!" I'm glad you reminded me.

I think this was introduced around 10.4.8? Or was it there before?

The control-scrollwheel function was introduced in 10.4.8, but zooming was available in 10.4.0 using command-option-equals/minus as a part of universal access.

Try command-option-control-8 for a fun surprise!

(press it again to revert back to normal)

Good tip, but even better is that it doesn't have to be CTRL. I've got mine set up as Command. To change the key that triggers, go to your Mouse control panel (in 10.4.9 at least). :D
