Just got the word that my G3 Pismo powerbook needs a new logicboard.
The warrenty ran out three weeks ago and Apple will not do anything for me.New part listed at $1300.00.
I might as well buy a new G4.
Does anyone know where I might find A used/cheap logicborad for my now expensive paperweight.

Your best bet would be to find someone with a Pismo that has a dead/damaged screen and offer to purchase it for "parts".

I don't know of anyone specifically myself, but it would probably mean they have a working logic board but lack a way to actually view anything (beyond hooking up an external monitor).
