japan is such an experience.. tokyo is insane. so many adventures already! tomorrow, i head to boracay in the philippines.

hope everything's well in canada.. and i don't want to ever leave here!

My last trip = 12 years ago! (I don't count my honeymoon)

Kids, house, career... no time now. Ugh. I am green with envy man - in a good way, I am happy for you but wish I could cross the Pacific too.
cool! you should have taken a pic with photobooth
i've only been to the store in shibuya
I don't find Japan any more expensive than the US.
i:m back in sendai from tokyo.. about 2hrs away on the shinkansen (bullet train).. here's me and my wife earlier this morning at the apple store!

and the price isn:t really that much more.. the tax is built in to the price, so what you see is really what you pay for.. and converting is easy: $1 is roughly ¥100.. so think about taxes and it works out very similar..

only problem i have, is that i have to use the japanese keyboard.. and it:s different enough for me to have some problems.

apostrophes, for example. they turn into colons.

General rule of Japan... litre of milk costs $1.69 in Canada costs $1.69USD in the states costs 169 yen in the Japan... 169 yen is around 12% more than $1.69... before in the states $1.69USD used to be 40-60% more than $1.69 CAD but now it's about 13%. Japan has always been cheaper than the US until now.
