In the Finder View menu, click on Show View Options. In the dialogue box that comes up, check the Show Item Info option. This will display your HD info under the icon (and similar info for all other icons).
Hard drive info
How do I get the hard drive information under the HD icon? A lot of desktop screen shots have something like "34GB - 24GB available". How do I get this? I cannot seem to find it in the hard drive properties
