After installing a RAGE 128 w/16 MB of SDRAM, I've been having some "no-detection" problems. First, under Mac OS X, the screen stays black all the way until it hits the login screen, in which it then turns on. But under Mac OS 9, the screen flickers on instantly when booting. Also, games under OS X give me the "No OpenGL compitable video card detected" error, but those same games work under OS 9 w/the Rage 128 card perfectly. Do I need to reinstall the ATI drivers for OS X? I installed them before I actually physically installed the Rage 128 card, but I think I should install them again when the monitor is actually connected to the card...

Make sure your OSX is up to date(I know it probley is, jsut checking) then make sure you have the latest updates from ATi.

I believe in the last few weeks there was some mention of problems with Rage 128 card owners, could just be my imagination.
