I know I can google this, but i thought I should reach out to long time associates on the boards 1st for some real life experience reporting.

A work associate is having some issues since I guess Google Calendar + iCal don't sync anymore?? (I have no idea - i virtually use next to no Google products).

Does anyone have this issue and have they found a solution?

Thx a million.

Seems like this is the wild west, chaotic at best.

I can get iCal --> Google Calendar to sync in that direction. But the Google Cal ---> iCal sync is NOT working right now. Oddly enough, I'm reading reports of the opposite online. Worse is that much of the solutions have to do w/ Android and not just basic desktop. Anyhow, if anyone has leads, lmk. But i'm still searching... ;)

Thx!

I use iCal on my Mac and my wife's, CalenMob on the iPad, and Calendar on my and my wife’s Android phones, all synced with Google Calendar. Additions, edits and deletions can be done on any device and they all sync automatically. I set up a Google account that is used just for the calendar to help keep it distinct from all our other Google uses.

Researching some more, came to this odd realization: is Apple is even offering support of many of their own apps?? I'm looking for details on enterprise solutions for Calendar, and seeing nothing really. Meanwhilst, I see extensive enterprise documentation from Google. I can suddenly hear all the Apple nay sayers... and i'm not even mad. Nothing. Just short paragraphs. Very strange.

As well, is there a way to make a business/enterprise specific appt at the apple store? or must this be a 1-800 call to Apple??

Apple has traditionally offered a general discussion of enterprise solutions but they have kept it usually at a high (i.e. non specific) level. Anything else they have left it to outside specialists.

Not sure what exactly you are looking for but I am a small business software solutions consultant. I focus on helping companies and professionals organize their business information. Two products that I specialize in are Daylite (which I think might be of interest to you) and FileMaker.

Feel free to contact me at my direct email address (shown below).

You can call the store directly and ask to speak to a member of their business team.

However I will warn you that it is hit and miss. Some of the business consultants know about enterprise solutions, most do not and will focus on the Apple stuff which you already know about.
