Anyone, please?
Where are you using Hydro One Zone? Inside the office towers downtown or in more open space? Just got an iPhone and am wondering whether I'll get good reception 13 floors up in Scotia Plaza.Disabling EDGE is easy, just clear the settings for EDGE in the Settings/General/Network/Edge panel. You can also call Rogers and say you want EDGE disabled on your account.
As long as you're only doing a software unlock, your warranty should be good. If you ever had to get it serviced by Apple it would be best to restore it. The warranty is International so you're good for servicing.
I'm in the same boat, and I got the Hydro One Zone monthly thing - came out to $33.06 after taxes. The coverage area is pretty nice, and even extends beyond what the coverage maps say. Signal is pretty nice, never drops.
Drive to Buffalo: $20 of gasIt would be a fraction of the cost of an iPhone.
Don't know about the Buffalo area, but here out west near Vancouver there are postal receiving services just over the border that accept parcels. $1 per package to receive, $1 for telephone notification. Might be the same in NY state?Anyway, I am curious about this shipping to a UPS store that everyone is speaking of. How does this work and what does it cost? And even if this does work, don't you need an American billing address on your credit card?
