According to Apple Insider, the dual G5 Powermacs are selling like hotcakes. 1/2 a million sold so far, with only 8,000 new G4 Powermacs moving. Looks to me like Mac OS X's adoption is proceeding well

Umm be a bit careful of buying into those numbers hook line and sinker.

Many of those G5s are still in the channel so while Apple considers them sold......

b) If Apple would SUPPLY DP1.25s then the numbers would look different.
Apple only supplied that number over the period - that is no indicator of what sales would be if supply were not just about ZERO.

Macdoc, How long do you think the Dual boot Powermac G4 will last? I'm wondering if they will be discontinued after the next speed bump in the G5s
