I brought this up before and started a big kerfufful. as everybody knows now, new imacs and new ipods are out. on the ipod page at apple it says "select your colour"...could this be foreshadowing for colour lcd ipods? i hope so.

nope.. this is just going to be the color of the case. This is why all the adds are in vivid color... Well, its my guess!

About the new iMac, I think its a big mistake to not have given them firewire 800.

I could see Apple offering your choice of coloured protective skin, but i think the days of rainbow/lifesaver hard cases are over. The next big update is line-in/recording ability to compete with MiniDisc. Bluetooth wireless headsets are way too expensive to start selling yet.
We will probably be more than delighted just to see a recording dock attachment and some price drops.
