It has come to my attention that Apple is giving away a bunch of fonts in a very wierd way.

Go to The Scriptable Items: iTunes page and download the "iTunes Scripts for OS 10.1" package.
Once it is expanded, you will find a folder called "AppleWorks Stuff, and inside that a foler called "ITC Fonts". Just copy and paste to either:

harddrive/library/fonts/
or
harddrive/users/username/library/fonts/

and you will be on your way with 25 brand new (and rather nice) fonts.

There is also a preview of them right here.

Now, I have no idea why Apple would be including fonts in an iTunes Package (except maybe because they also include some CD Label/Liner templates for AW6.2), but they are there, so why not take advantage right?

I don't know how long they will stay up there though, as admittedly, I don't know if they are meant to be there or not.

oh, and props to MacOSXHints.com where I found out about this.
