I just noticed this... and laughed!
In OS X, quit all running applications, so just the Finder is running (not necessary, really - you just need to have no open folders or anything).
Control-click the Finder icon on the dock.
Read the content of the pop-up menu.
Fall of your chair at the hilarity of it all...
