My Elgato eyeTV 250 also runs warm. At first, I was concerned. Now I just figure I'll have it sitting on the floor during the winter and it'll make a nice foot warmer... :lmao:
Elgato eyeTV runs hot
So I love the Elgato eyeTV but it runs pretty hot. Is this normal? Oh I am in Hamilton I have it connected to the cable and put a little antenna on it and get CBC HD OTA. Man is it great to watch HD full screen on the 20" iMac baseball, football and tennis is amazing in HD.

Between 180 and 200 depending where you buy it. I bought mine at the Apple store because it was the easy store to get to.
