Mr. Mayor, each year since 1991, on Sept. 25th, the day my mother died of MS, I donate $100 in her name to the MS Society here in Canada. This year, I sent this donation in your team pledge.

If our honorable Mayor's pledge drive does not reach at least $1000 by sundown on Sunday, I shall send one of my doxie pups to her doom at Dr. Dworkis' Dungeon of Doxies. Here is a pic of the sweet face that will meet her horrible fate if more of you don't pledge. Remember, no pledge is too small to save this little pup ............ or to save someone from MS.

Mr. Mayor, I assume we can pledge more than once? After the aforementioned offer/threat, I feel that I am not sure if I could part with Tootsie. Take a look at that face and you shall see what I mean. We shall see.

For anyone who makes a donation, the MS Society of Canada sends you an e-receipt within the hour of the donation. I usually have over $2000 of charitable donations each year, so these receipts are important to me.....just as MS and a finding a possible cure is important to me. Paix, mes amis.

Mr.Mayor, tell your daughters that I shall send out the last three remaining doxie pups we still have here. If they go door to door, and have people take one look at the sad eyes of the pups, they will open up their hearts and wallets to this grand cause.
