My summer reading
I thought I would spin this off from the eBook thread and deal only with free eBook sources and recommendations.
I've always wanted to read the Muir and Seton books - Kindle brings them free and instantly and with reader reviews to guide me.
( scroll down to reader reviews.
on Seton
Amazon.com: The Biography of a Grizzly eBook: Ernest Thompson Seton: Kindle…
and on Muir
Amazon.com: The Mountains of California eBook: John Muir: Kindle Store
For instance it allows me to put together a picture of the opening of the west by Europeans from several first hand accounts ( Lewis and Clarke for instance ) and follow the changes over time and from various view points.
This would be tough to do in a standard library but with eBooks one book choice leads to others that are related.
much fun....and FREE!!!
