I bought one of these cards on eBay
Asanté XG and now the supplier has offered me a substitution of one of these cards:
1. D-Link DWL-G650 CARDBUS 54MBPS ADAPTER 802.11G
2. Hawking Technologies HWC54G CARDBUS 54MBPS ADAPTER
802.11G
3. Netgear WG511NA CARDBUS 54MBPS ADAPTER 802.11G
4. SMC SMC2835W CARDBUS ADAPTER 54MBPS 802.11G

I don't think any of them will work with OSX on my Lombard with Airport 3.1 though, So I replied that if they want they can substitute the card with a Macsense AeroCard Extreme 802.11g 54Mbps Wireless Cardbus Card
Or a AeroCard Plus 802.11b Wireless PCMCIA Card for Mac/PC which is of lesser value.
Or they can just send me the Asanté XG card when they have it in stock.

Yea...
Although it'd be nice if they can cough up the Macsense card,
However I doubt that they will though.
I phoned them today and found out that my order was
mixed up with someone elses and somehow my order got
lost, It's a first for their company...So they said.

I'd really prefer the Asanté card for sure considering it is
sold out by every supplier I could find in the U.S.
I was really hoping that I could surf wirelessly while on my
Xmas holidays in Montréal later this month.

Oh well...
Here's to hoping a solution arrives quickly before I leave.

That's the thing...Macsense cards actually cost a great deal more,
If they can get me one of these then I'd be more than pleased.

I just got off the phone with the eBay company and they are
going to send me this Macsense card ,
It's not as powerful as the Asanté XG card but it will work
with OS 9 and OSX.

At least it'll give me peace of mind knowing that'll it'll work
and I won't need to give the company negative feedback on eBay.

Unfortunately I won't get it until after my Xmas holidays.
Oh well, At least I know that I'll be wireless with a for sure
compatible card in the New Year.

These guys have got to be the worst dealers on eBay ever.

I give up,
I've bought another Macsense card at eCost for $69. U.S. instead.
