Hi I was wondering what if anyone could tell me the best DVD-to-mpeg converting software for macs out there is. Or if there is a better conversion format I would love to hear it. Thanks

I would say the best, though not fastest is: forty-two.

I converts to DivX avi which can be viewed with VLC:
