Can PCs open up .sit files??? hope so.

There is Stuffit for Windows - so a PC person could unstuff a .sit, but the more prevalent compression format on the PC is .zip. If you could .zip the file, it probably would be easier for the PC user. So like macello said use the Dropzip demo, if one exists.
Oh, by the way Stuffit Expander for Windows is here if your Pc friend wants to use it.
