Hey Guys.

Im trying to delete the "New Folder" I found this: Delete bookmarks : Manage your bookmarks - Google Chrome Help which is somewhat helpful, but its only for removing actual bookmarks and but folders... can anyone help me out.

When i click on the "yellow star" this menu pops up, and if i click on edit the following menu pops up and there is no option for me to remove or rename a folder.

Thanks

Hey guys.

I just figured it out ;) When you launch Chrome, the default screen loads and the bookmarks are on the top menu, I just clicked (control + click) and deleted the folder & files that I no longer want.

The OP specifically asked for help with CHROME bookmarks, not Safari.
Here you are. But this is for safari so...

Hit the tab that looks like an open book

Highlight the folder and click delete.
huh? Sinc, can't you read....... "hear you go. But this is for safari so..."

I merely pointed him to a possible solution/location if Chrome has a similar set up in the browser's menu bar.

Glad you figured it out JoeyDee.
