Hi everyone,

Check this cool product out that allows you to make 3D digital photos for print or on the computer. Mac software version available before the end of the year. Plus it is supposed to work with most digital cameras.

it's a little too expensive for my budget, but it would be fun to try.

The glasses and the process are called "Anaglyph". They don't say it on the site, but the tip-off is the coloured glasses.

Here is a fascinating site that has a lot on this and other 3D processes. I have cardboard red/blue glasses so can see the Anaglyph pictures in 3D. He has other pix that can be viewed in 3D by crossing your eyes.

On this page he gives info on how to use Photoshop to create Anaglyph pictures.

There are still people taking stereo pictures using cameras from the 1950's! I did a couple times long ago on Kodachrome slide film. You use polarized glasses for these stereo images when projected, or special viewers that direct one image to each eye, like in the ancient stereoscope viewers.

A fascinating subject.

Johnny.

You can become a beta tester of the Mac software coming out on September 15th. Just write to them at:

I know I will have tons of fun with this technology once the final software version comes out later this year for us Mac users
