I know a lot of the long time Mac heads out there pine for the good old days with a Radius portrait display that could rotate b/w landscape for design and portrait for document work. Well there's now a very cool way you can turn any display into a portrait (if you've got the bucks).
"Rob-art" Morgan over at Barefeats was testing out the ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (I said you'd need bucks) and found that it includes "hardware accelerated display rotation and scaling". Combine this with Marathon Computer's Pixarm and you can rotate even your Cinema Display to your heart's content.
Yes I know there have been other "solutions" out there over the years but this one seems pretty cool.
