Yesterday, I took a look at:

http://www.melonsoft.com/

I liked it so much, I decided someone at ehMac should get a free copy! The fine folks at Melonsoft were kind enough to donate a copy to ehMac.

How do you win? Good question! Here's how to enter the contest:

Step 1: If you haven't already done so, download the demo of BubbleDrum and have fun with it.

Step 2: Come back here and click the Post Reply button on the top right hand side of the screen. (If you're not a member of ehMac, you must first register. Contest open to Canadian Residents only. Sorry eh!) In your reply message, you must state in 25 words or less, why you think you should get the free copy of BubbleDrum. :D Members may only submit one post and may not edit their post. Be creative! Be funny! Be original! The whackier the better!

Step 3: The contest will run until Monday, June 23rd at 12:00 PM EDT. I'll then choose which ones I think are the top 5. Then, for one week we will have a poll where all members can vote for the response they think is best. The voting will go for one week until Monday, June 30th at 12:00 PM. The member with the most votes, will win BubbleDrum!

Have fun and good luck!

Botta Boom Botta Bing, I was first. And pardon me while I scratch away :D

EDIT: (This is not part of my submission to win, and I wish to say, I tried the program and got hooked on the scratch pads, and well I came up with something short and simple, and I'm not known for my poetry skills, good job to everyone else as they definitely outclass fine, but I was first to try :D
Super jobs everyone!)

Everytime I hold sticks, I have the sudden urge to tease

So if I want to play drums, I must play with keys. :D

As a parent of a smart 15 year old
With musical talents unforetold
Who also happens to love all things Mac
- This kid has got the knack
But this son's talent has many diversions
Into girls and bikes and other perversions
This software would keep him from becoming idle
Perhaps even the next Canadian Idol!

(I like Chealions too....)

I _was_ a drummer in high school but had to sell them to pay for my car insurance. Please nourish my inner drummer!!!
So far only 7 entries. (With one DQ) :D That's a 1 in 6 chance of winning a $12 piece of software! (Don't worry folks, the contests will keep getting better and better)

No more entries? Come on, give us your best shot!

Pick my nose, pick my bum, now I want my bubbledrum!!
Bubble, bubble, oil and stubble
Afterburn and Barney Rubble
Round about the drumset go
in the Poison influence throw
though I'd like to win and would vote for myself...my sentimental favorite is definitely this one:

Yes mmflame, when I read it, I was deeply moved. TCB presents to us the conundrum we all face in life. He's not merely presenting us with a list of facts, but instead that of choice. Do we pick our nose, or do we pick our bum? Its symbolic of all our life's choices. In the end, he choses neither and goes down the path of that which is right. He chooses, BubbleDrum. He's saying if we would all go down the path of BubbleDrum, the world would be a better place.

>Sniff sniff<... sorry, I can't stop crying its so beautiful.

point taken, ehMax. my interpretation of that beautiful eloquence is the following.

fate is inevitable. we may try to pick our nose, we may think we can pick our bum. in the end, we have no choice but to submit to destiny. his destiny is to obtain BubbleDrum.

unless of course, someone else gets all the votes.

Well...I tried it but quite frankly, I don't understand it, How can you play the drums with one mouse?

It's like going to a concert with a broken hand and trying to clap with one hand.

Is there something that I missed here?

Is there a driver that you can get that allows you to add a second mouse?

Is there an accessory that plugs into the USB port that resembles two drum sticks?

Is there a multiple mouse pad kit you can buy that resemble drums?

dolawren - You can assign a drum to a key, so each time you press say 'a' it will be as if you clicked that drum. Not hard at all, interetsing to have a drum to each key then just button mash for a few seconds!
