Connecting to WEP network

I'm having trouble connecting to my 128 bit WEP encrypted network. Reason I use WEP instead of WSP is because my Nintendo DS only connects online with WEP. So I'm stuck with this choice.

Anyways, I have Tiger, and I clicked on the network icon and created a new network. Typed in the hex key (twice) and choose 128 bit security. But when I click ok, it doesn't connect!

Any ideas?

I can't be of much help, I abondoned WEP a long time ago because it is insecure (paradoxically so) and the key entering was a big problem. I usually copied it in a document and sent it to the computers.

I had a laptop that would show it being disconnected under WEP, but it was connected, weird stuff happens.

Did you try putting the $ character before the WEP key? I think that's how you differentiate a password based WEP generator from the hex key itself.

Hope that helps!
