Let me set a few things straight:
You cannot install an OS on an AirDisk - the connection is simply not fast enough, and on top of that, the AirDisk is mounted from within the OS, so booting from it is impossible.
Also, you cannot simply install an OS onto a drive and have a server. You need a computer for that. However, you can make the AirDisk remotely accessible (AFAIK).
