I updated Camino gto version 1.5.1, the latest, because 1.5 was somewhat "flaky"; well it turns out Camino 1.5.1 is even worse.
Just wondered if anyone else is having problems or if this is unique to me.
What happens is that it works fine when I first launch Camino, but after looking at only a few websites, Camino then basically stops responding.
Either the back button doen't work, or I click on a link and nothing happens, or I click on a picture and it won't open.
At the bottom of the screen it shows "loading...." in the left hand corner, but it never finishes loading.
This happens with sites like cnn, when I then look at cnn with firefox, everything is fine.
Why don't I use firefox - well for one all my bookmarks are set up nicely in Camino - Camino does a better job as far as the bookmark bar is concerned; the other issue is that firefos saves websites as a .asp file rather than .html and then the file won't open on the Mac unless I manually change the suffix.
General question: What your current browser of choice?
I find I end up changing browsers every few months because the performance of any specific browser seems to get worse over time; and to top it off, I have some sites that will only work with one specific browser.
This whole web experience is beginning to become a real pain.
