Looks like Apple is headed for a revamp of its displays. If you point your browser over to the Online Apple Store...you will note 15" flat displays are no longer available.

Your options (for now?) are the 17", 22" and the 23" HD monitors. Perhaps Apple now means to make the 17" the entry-level monitor?

Might we see a new 19" monitor or some other size to bridge the gap that is now between the 17" and 22" monitors?

Your thoughts???

if they're gonna make the 17" the base model monitor, they'd better make it a heck of a lot cheaper. as it is, apple loses a lot of money to third party monitor sales. i've always thought they should make the 17" crt from the emac available as a monitor.

i know they did, it's the fact that that sentence is in the past tense that i feel is a problem.

Nick you monitor is a a Diamondtron tube - very nice - pricey but very good.
The eMac is NOT the same tube by any means. ;-( Wish it was we would push the eMac a lot more if it had that quality of tube.
The eMac tube is reasonable but not the same as your Studio display
