I have a 15`` 2nd rev intel MBP with 2 gigs ram and am running windows XP SP2 under bootcamp.

I have to yell into the internal mic at close range for even the smallest amount of recording volume to register. This audio is not audible to others. I've searched other forums and have not come across a fix.

I have the mic volume turned all the way up and micboost is selected as well. If anyone knows a solution to this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Go into control panel, sounds, recording tab (I'm blurry on my XP memory so it may be different). Go into the recording mixer and crank up the volume of the internal micrphone and enable mic boost if it's an option.
