Apple Store end-of-month sales table starts when??

I dropped in to the Yorkdale store and asked this week, it has been discontinued. Shame we bought lots.

WHAT??! Really? The Shereway store had it only about two monthd ago. That's a bummer. :-(

Eaton Centre stopped these sales like ... in May.

The excuse I was given was that they "couldn't ensure the product quality" when people bring stuff back. So they stopped it.

From reading about it so much on ehMac, I'm pretty sure that that remark equals market-speak for "We forgot to check if there was too much RAM too often."

Epilogue:

Although the tables are gone you can certainly enquire about returns etc. if you know what you're looking for. I asked at the Sherway store on behalf of my brother in-law and got a good deal on a returned glossy MBP 2.2GHz Core2Duo/2GB/120GB etc. (current entry-level). According to the Mac Store dude, it was returned because the buyer wanted a matte screen instead.
