Apple Store and MacBook Pro Inventory?

Hi everyone,

I'm just about to pick up a low-end MacBook Pro - the 15.4" matte screen. I'm obviously concerned with the "yellowing" issue with the screens.

My plan is to buy it from the Apple Store at the Eaton Centre, since I've got a few hundred dollars in Cadillac-Fairview gift cards. What happens if I get it home and it has the yellow tint issue? Can I do an exchange with the Apple Store? Or would I have to make an appointment with the Genius Bar and then have it serviced?

Any help is appreciated.

Mine is 3 months old they offered to replace , go to the genius bar

Mine also has a bad video card and pram though

Edit: and logic board
From what I can tell, you'll have to make an appointment to see a Genius. You should be able to get an exchange pretty easily if it's within the first 2 weeks of purchase and they have your model in stock. If you're concerned about yellowing, you might even ask to open the box in front of a Genius and look for yellowing first...

I would definitely recommend buying from an Apple store if you can. I bought mine from the online store and while they were pretty good about agreeing to replace the machine, waiting for the replacement was a real pain (about 2 weeks).
