black book core 1 w/ 2 GB RAM

was looking at movie trailers on the apple site in medium quality and picture quality was very grainy and had sort of a "red shift" to it

i've attached a screenshot

any hints?

It almost looks like you're in a low color mode of some sort.

I love that quote: "Is that camera on?" ... "No."

Weird. Did you check your System Preferences-->Displays to ensure you are in "millions" of colours?

i changed my quicktime download speed from 384 kbps to 1 Mbps and the problem seems to have been corrected
